Heat Exchangers
A heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat from one medium to another. The heat is transferred by conduction through the exchange of materials separating the media used. The medium through which this heat exchange occurs is what determines the different kinds of heat exchangers.
The heat exchange may be for the primary purpose of heating up elements or cooling them down. Within the industrial sector, cooling tends to be the more prevalent function in order to prevent equipment or volatile substances from overheating. There are many different types of heat exchangers, each with its own advantages and drawbacks, yet tailored to best suit different purposes and industries.
Heat exchangers have a very broad range of industrial applications. They are used as components of air conditioning and cooling systems or of heating systems. Many industrial processes call for a certain degree of heat to function; however, typically great care must be taken to keep these processes from getting too hot.

Tube Bundle
A tube bundle is a densely packed collection of pipes used as a radiation core in heat exchangers. These pipe groups are typically housed in a tubular shell or outer housing with a constant flow of water moving through it. When hot liquids or gases are circulated through the tube bundle, the large combined surface area of the tubes allows for efficient transfer of heat into the shell water and cooling of the fluids in the tubes.
Tube bundles are often housed in an outer casing or a tubular shell with a constant flow of fluids moving through it. There are tube bundles that allow liquid to liquid heat exchange as well as steam to liquid heat exchange. There are two distinct types of tube bundles: straight and U tube. The pipes in these bundles are generally made of steel or copper depending on the specific application.
Tube bundles go inside the shell of a heat exchanger. This is the part that fails the most often as the tubes can be vulnerable to corrosion and failure. The average tube bundle uses water that is heated by steam or other fluids in the shell.
Tube bundles are often manufactured to meet a customer’s requirements. They can be made with a variety of materials depending on the temperatures the tube bundle will manage to handle as well as the needs of the application.
However, some of the materials used to make this device include:
- > Stainless Steel 316
- > Copper
- > Carbon steel tubes
- > Admiralty brass
- > Cupro-nickel
- > Titanium
- > Carpenter 20
Heaters / Reacters
Reactors are vessels wherein a chemical reaction takes place in an industry or at any manufacturing plant. They vary in size, from a few cm3 to vast structures, depending on their operational application. The design of the reactor is determined by many factors but of particular importance are the thermodynamics and kinetics of the chemical reactions being carried out. Our products find application in the following industries, namely; Chemical, Oil & Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Radioactive, Water Treatment Industry among others.
We are having immense experience in designing and manufacturing of reactors that can best fit the various industrial processing requirements of the reactors. We design the reactors as per the size and process needs of the client.
